North Africa: Bible Printing

After years of hard work, dedication, and prayer, the entire Bible translation and audio recording for a people group in North Africa has been completed and will be dedicated this January.

For the first time, speakers from this people group, a community of more than 35 million, can read and hear the entire Word of God in the language that speaks to their hearts. This is the culmination of work that began over a century ago with some of Avant’s first members. Portions of Scripture were translated first, then the New Testament, and now the whole Bible is available for families, churches, and future generations.

We’re celebrating this historic milestone, but we’re also looking ahead. We want these Bibles to reach every person who has been waiting for them.

Avant is raising $75,000 to print and distribute the first edition of this Bible. Your gift will help place these Bibles, free of charge, into the hands of people who long to grow in their faith, understand Scripture deeply, and share the gospel in their own heart language.
