Camp Ministry

Outreach through camp ministry has been part of the fabric of Avant Ministries for more than 50 years.

Echo Ranch Bible Camp has been impacting the lives of the youth of Alaska since 1964. Many of the outlying communities outside of Juneau do not have a Bible-believing church. Campers aged 7 to 18 receive the gospel, biblical teaching, and fellowship with other believers. Many come to know Christ each summer.

Opportunities abound to serve at Echo Ranch every summer. ERBC needs counselors, nurses, cooks, mechanics, and more.

Avant members are involved in several other camp ministries around the world as well. Opportunities to make a difference in the lives of children, youth and families through camping exist in Mexico at camp Oasis, in Guatemala at Centennial Camp, and others.

Ministry opportunities include hospitality, program directors, teachers, IT and web specialists, and more.
